Ufortunately Jesse Duran has been one of the longrunners at KGGI and probably one of the higher paid. CC just didn't want to renew his employee agreement. I'm thinking Jesse didn't want to conceed to less money for the same of more duties at KGGI. ODM recently renewed his employee agreement a few months ago. I'm wondering if he conceeded to less cash to keep his gig???? That's the way CC bigwigs roll!! Welcome to the new world of radio.lol!! This isn't your daddy's industry anymore.lol!!!

So I was Googling around for Rockstar Mayhem reviews and found only a handful since it's still early. The title of this web page says "music now" and the title of this review is "Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival review", yet all you talked about was music terms, fireworks, fires, comedians and oompa loompas...not once did you mention even a remotely detailed comment who sounded good/bad, who's stage show was good/bad, what bands had energy, which ones didn't? Which bands did the crowd enjoy? What songs did they play...seriously, you couldn't review one second of the actual live MUSIC? People weren't buying tickets to this concert to see fireworks or listen to comedians, they want to know about the MUSIC. Did you really even attend this concert or did you piece together information from other sources?

Well, though he may seem frail, he's tougher than you might think, and nobody forced him to take this gig or do this show. Sly's own children were with him, and if anyone were to "throw their arms around him and walk him offstage" it should've been them, but again, he wanted to do this show so nobody felt it right to do such a thing, and frankly it would only have angered him. And the band did not make much so it wasn't about money, they just wanted to play. Sly threw a monkey wrench in the whole thing by throwing the setlist and rehearsed show out the window moments before heading to the stage, so they tried to do as they were told the best they could, and Sly was just.. himself.. and I'm sure he'd wanna "thank u" for lettin him.

Tremendous show, a huge credit to the Fox Theater in Pomona. Cake is a somewhat political band, but in addition to John McCrea sharing his thoughts on Healthcare and weed, he singled out veterans in the audience. He thanked them for their service - and I suspect he rigged the tree giveaway so a Veteran won it.

Bonus: McCrea and a few bandmates were hanging in the Fox Theater's bar before the show. "Take the time to get to know me."

How cool. Props to Will for "Especially for You." Turn it up! "Behind the Wall of Sleep" is one of my favorites songs EVER (although if you can find their live EP, I think that is the definitive version).

And I am more of a Vol. 1 Van Fan.
